Slug feels sad because his mum never hugs him. Seeking to change this, he asks other animals for advice. Kitten suggests he become furrier, so he dons a woolly hat. Bird recommends a beak, so he adds one. After several transformations, Slug returns home, hoping his new look will earn him a hug. Will his mum embrace him now?
