Synopsis
Lubber, a lost dog, remembers only that his home lies beneath a hillside marked by a white horse. Joined by Squintum the Siamese cat, a directionally challenged racing pigeon, and an abandoned Irish Setter, they embark on a perilous journey to find Lubber's home. Meanwhile, two sisters anxiously await the return of their beloved pet.
About the author
Dick King-Smith was a much-loved British author who wrote over 100 books for children, often about animals and farms. His most famous story is 'The Sheep-Pig', which inspired the popular film 'Babe'. Dick loved spending time with animals and used his real-life experiences to create his wonderful, imaginative stories.
