Synopsis

Elmer and Wilbur organise a colourful race for the young elephants, each decorated in a different shade. As they dash around the course, the elephants discover new things about themselves—some are fast, some are funny, and some need to learn about fairness. With Elmer’s kindness, everyone celebrates together and each elephant earns a special medal, showing that trying your best and saying sorry are what really matter.

David McKee was a brilliant British author and illustrator, best known for creating the colourful Elmer the Patchwork Elephant stories. His books are loved by children all around the world for their fun characters and important messages about being unique and accepting others. David McKee also created Mr Benn, another much-loved character from books and television.
