What is Melric and the Dragon about?
When a dragon is seen near the kingdom, everyone expects flames, destruction and disaster. The king sends out hunting parties to capture the terrifying creature before it can attack. But Melric, the kingdom’s clever magician, is not convinced that the dragon is dangerous. Instead of reaching for a sword, he tries to discover what the dragon really wants. Soon, Melric learns that this particular dragon may have a surprising weakness—and that a little kindness can be more powerful than fear.
