Synopsis

Electra, a nine-year-old mermaid with legs instead of a tail, dreams of becoming the Queen of the New Year on Mermaid Island. To improve her chances, she and her dolphin friend, Splash, help decorate the grotto for the New Year party but accidentally create a mess. While cleaning up, they discover an unblocked tunnel leading to the deep sea. When sharks threaten the island through this tunnel, Electra, Splash, and a giant ink-squirting squid must work together to save everyone.
