Synopsis

Frank is a plain caterpillar who delights in the beauty around him. While his friends eagerly anticipate their transformation into dazzling butterflies, Frank remains content. Upon emerging from their chrysalises, the others are disheartened by their appearances, but Frank, now a brown butterfly, is thrilled to explore the world. He encourages his friends to join him, but they decline, ashamed of their looks. Undeterred, Frank finds new companions who share his appreciation for the world beyond appearances.
