Synopsis
As night falls, Mouse becomes frightened by the dark and the looming shadows. Fortunately, he meets Ray, a friendly firefly who offers to light his way home. Along their journey, they encounter other animals who share Mouse's fear. With Ray's gentle guidance, they discover that the shadows aren't as scary as they seem. But sometimes, just sometimes, the shadows might be exactly what they appear to be.

Alex Latimer is a talented author and illustrator from South Africa. He is well known for his funny and imaginative stories, such as 'The Boy Who Cried Ninja' and 'Lion vs Rabbit'. Alex loves creating books that make children laugh and think, and he enjoys drawing the quirky characters found in his stories.
