Synopsis
Max longs for a pet, but his parents are hesitant. Puppies chew, parrots screech, and sharks have too many teeth. When they dismiss his idea of a dragon, claiming they don't exist, Max settles for a pet worm. However, this worm begins to develop spikes and breathe smoke. Could it be that dragons do exist after all?

Debi Gliori is a much-loved author and illustrator from Scotland. She has written many wonderful books for children, including the popular ‘No Matter What’ and the ‘Mr Bear’ series. Debi enjoys drawing magical worlds and gentle characters, making her stories perfect for bedtime or sharing with friends and family.
