What is The Pet Itch about?

Mossy the Monster is determined to have a pet Itch, despite his family's objections. They present numerous reasons against it, but Mossy remains resolute. With the help of his cunning older sister, they devise a plan that not only secures Mossy his desired pet but also cleverly assigns the adults the messy tasks involved.
