Anna is thrilled to spend her summer holidays on her grandparents' canal boat with her lively puppy, Fred. However, their grumpy Labrador, Sunny, doesn't take kindly to Fred's presence. When it's decided that Fred should return home, he escapes into the woods, frightened and alone. With the boat set to depart that evening, Anna faces a race against time to find her beloved puppy before he gets left behind.
