What is Sin Bin Island about?

After losing his family, Jack Digby is sent to Cyril Sniggs's Correctional Orphanage for Wayward Boys and Girls, a school rumoured to have been founded by a pirate. Here, students learn to fire cannons and fend off pirate attacks. Each year, the four worst-behaved pupils are exiled to the ominous Sin Bin Island for a week. Legends speak of the island's magical past, but after 300 years, the magic has remained dormant—until now.
