What is Spud about?

Spud, a scruffy dog with a big heart and an even bigger appetite, adores his owner, Mrs Piffey. He delights in rummaging through dustbins and chasing cats. One day, Spud overhears Mrs Piffey discussing a mysterious 'turkey' and notices her wearing dark glasses and something called a 'bikini'. Suddenly, she disappears. Determined to find her, Spud embarks on a quest, encountering various adventures along the way. Eventually, Mrs Piffey returns with a tan and a box of Turkish delight.
