What is Not Last Night But the Night Before about?

On the night before his birthday, a young boy is surprised by a series of unexpected visitors at his door. Familiar nursery rhyme characters, including the Man in the Moon, the Three Little Pigs, and Little Bo-Peep, arrive one after another, each bearing gifts. As they rush past him, knocking him over in their haste, the boy wonders about the big surprise awaiting him upstairs. This whimsical tale celebrates birthdays and the joy of imagination.
