What is My Hamster Is an Astronaut about?

Nine-year-old Benjamin Jinks dreams of sending his hamster into space, even though he hates maths and science. Luckily, Jasper Stinkybottom is no ordinary hamster: he is a grumpy genius with plenty of ideas. When Benjamin enters the school science fair, the pair must build a winning space experiment before their scheming neighbours beat them to the prize. But as their plan takes off, things quickly become unpredictable. Can Benjamin and Stinky reach for the stars without crashing back down to Earth?
