What is Raiders and Ruins about?

Eric is a young monk at Lindisfarne when a cruel punishment sends him fleeing across the sea. Captured by Norse raiders, he befriends Hilda, an English girl forced into slavery. Together, they discover a secret plan to attack English monasteries. When the raiders target Lindisfarne, Eric and Hilda are swept into the invasion. They must find a way to escape, protect the abbey’s treasures and warn the monks before it is too late.
