Hansel and Gretel live with their poor parents near a dark forest. When there is not enough food, the children are left deep among the trees. Hansel tries to mark the way home, but the forest holds many surprises. After following a trail of crumbs, they discover a wonderful house made of sweets. But its kindly-looking owner has a dangerous secret. Trapped by the witch, Hansel and Gretel must use their courage and cleverness to escape and find their way home.
