What is The Big Kick 16p about?
Tom and Dad are enjoying a game of football when Dad gives the ball a huge kick. It flies up, up, up—and disappears! The pair search everywhere, looking carefully around them. At last, Tom spots the ball high in a tree. Can he reach it? Tom bravely climbs up to rescue it, then proudly brings it back to Dad. With very simple repeated language and a satisfying ending, this gentle early reader captures the excitement of a ball gone astray.
