What is Nelson Gets a Fright about?
Nelson is a young elephant who does not feel big or strong like the older members of his herd. While playing in the grass with his friend Nina, he notices something moving. Curious, the pair investigate, but soon discover hungry lionesses creeping closer. Nelson is terrified and tries to escape, while Nina cries for help. Then Nelson’s mother, grandmother, aunts and cousins charge to the rescue. Their loud trumpeting sends the lionesses running, and Nelson learns not to wander too far from his family.
