Egg arrives at the home of Foxy DuBois, who seems wonderfully welcoming. But behind her friendly smile, Foxy is plotting something rather sinister. Her kitchen is filled with recipe books, while pictures of fried eggs decorate the walls. Will Egg realise the danger before it is too late? With deliciously dark humour, funny clues and a wonderfully mischievous twist, this lively picture book follows one innocent egg’s nerve-racking visit to a very hungry fox.

About the author

Alex T. Smith is a British author and illustrator best known for creating the much-loved 'Claude' series about a beret-wearing dog and his best friend, Sir Bobblysock. Alex’s stories are filled with adventure and fun, and his lively pictures bring his characters to life. He loves drawing and making children laugh with his books.
