What is Ellie's Dragon about?
When Ellie discovers a tiny dragon hatching in a supermarket, she names him Scratch and takes him home. Soon, the gentle dragon becomes her constant companion, living in her dollhouse and joining her at school. Although Ellie’s mum and teacher cannot see him, her friends can. As the years pass, Scratch grows from a small, colourful hatchling into a large, affectionate, house-trained dragon. Ellie grows and changes too, discovering that even the most magical friendships may not last for ever.
