What is Jethro Byrde: fairy child about?
Annabelle believes in fairies, even though her father insists they cannot live among the cement and weeds of their urban garden. One day, she discovers Jethro Byrde, a tiny fairy child whose family has crash-landed nearby in their little ice-cream truck. Annabelle invites them home for tea, but her parents cannot see their unexpected guests. As the fairies fiddle, dance and prepare for their travelling picnic, Annabelle experiences a magical afternoon and receives a small reminder of their secret world.
