What is Freddy vs School about?

Freddy is not an ordinary schoolboy: he is an awesome robot with super-strength, laser eyes and rocket boosters. Unfortunately, his mum insists that he attends school, where robotic powers are strictly forbidden. After a few disastrous attempts to fit in, Freddy finds himself facing a strict code of conduct and the threat of expulsion. With friendships to protect and trouble brewing among his classmates, Freddy must decide whether to hide what makes him special or use his powers to help others.
