Fred is an adventurous teddy bear who loves exploring the world beyond his usual home. When he goes home with a child, every day brings something new to discover. About the author
Duncan Smith is an author and illustrator who loves drawing and sharing creative ideas with young readers. He studied art at the Glasgow School of Art and has worked as a freelance illustrator, a film concept artist and a drawing teacher. Duncan has written and illustrated children’s books, including Nature Colour by Numbers. He enjoys bringing pictures and words together to help readers explore the natural world with curiosity and imagination.
