On a warm summer day, Primrose and her friends Dusty, Poppy, and Wilfred embark on an exciting voyage down the river in Dusty's boat, the Periwinkle. Their journey leads them to the vast sea, where they encounter unexpected challenges and undertake an important mission. Together, the mice navigate adventures that test their courage and friendship before returning to the safety of Brambly Hedge.
About the author
Jill Barklem was a British author and illustrator who created the much-loved Brambly Hedge stories. Her books are filled with beautiful drawings and gentle tales about the adventures of mice living in the English countryside. Children enjoy exploring the detailed worlds she imagined, full of friendship, nature, and cosy homes hidden in the hedgerows.
