What is Pirates Aren't Scared of the Dark! about?

Freddie is determined to spend the night outside in his brilliant pirate tent, and he insists that his little sister Poppy cannot join him. After all, pirates are brave, while fairies are not! But when Freddie’s torch goes out and something begins to rustle in the darkness, his courage starts to fade. Perhaps having Poppy nearby would not be so bad after all. A playful story about facing fears, sibling relationships and discovering that everyone needs a little help sometimes.
