What is Noisy Stafford about?
Stafford is a quiet electric engine who dreams of making big, noisy sounds like the steam engines. Thomas and Percy teach him how to chuff, puff and whistle, while Gordon and Henry add a few sounds of their own. Stafford is delighted to practise, but when he tries out his new noises at Farmer McColl’s farm, the animals—and everyone nearby—are in for a surprise. Can Stafford learn when to make a noise and when to keep quiet?
