When Lily leaves the park, she does not realise that Teddy has fallen from her arms. As rain begins to pour and darkness approaches, Teddy comes to life and sets off on a brave journey home. Along the way, he must face rushing cars, towering strangers and a frightening dog. Cold, wet and worried, Teddy keeps going because he knows Lily will be waiting for him. Can a kind stranger help him reach home before dark?

Ian Beck is a much-loved British author and illustrator. He is best known for illustrating the classic book 'The Owl and the Pussycat' and writing the popular 'Tom Trueheart' adventure stories. Ian’s wonderful drawings and imaginative tales have delighted children for many years. He enjoys creating magical worlds with words and pictures.
