What is If the Invader Comes about?
June 1940. With Britain fearing invasion after Dunkirk, Bobble, Cadan and Cilla are drawn together by their parents’ secret wartime work. Though they struggle to trust one another, a German E-boat on the River Fal and a crashed Stuka show that danger is close to home. As rumours spread and enemy attacks threaten Cornwall, the three children take part in river patrols, rescue survivors and uncover the courage needed to protect their families and their community.
