Synopsis

In 1939 London, 12-year-old Ronnie Smith is both excited and scared as war begins. He and his friends collect shrapnel from bombings, but at home, Ronnie's younger brother Micky becomes involved with Johnny Simmons, a charming yet suspicious man. As Micky's secretive behaviour grows, Ronnie and his best friend Lugs uncover Johnny's dangerous ties to fascist groups. Together, they must protect Micky and confront the threats lurking within their own community.
