What is Wayside School Gets a Little Stranger about?
Wayside School is already an unusual place, but things become even stranger when Mrs Jewls is replaced by a mysterious substitute teacher. Soon, the thirtieth-floor classroom is filled with pets, including dogs, cats, frogs, skunks and an orange called Fido. There is also a bizarre lunch of baked liver in purple sauce, a confusing handbook called POOPS and plenty of chaos. As the pupils try to make sense of their school, one peculiar event after another turns an ordinary day into unforgettable mayhem.
