What is A Practical Present for Philippa Pheasant about?
Philippa Pheasant loves the juicy blackberries on the far side of Old Oak Road, but crossing it is becoming far too dangerous. After several close shaves with speeding cars, Philippa spots a road-crossing patrol in a bright yellow uniform and has a brilliant idea. With help from her woodland friends, she makes her own outfit and sign, determined to keep everyone safe. But will the villagers take a small pheasant seriously, and can Philippa save the day?
