What is A History of My Weird about?
Starting secondary school is difficult for Mo, especially after falling out with her old friends. Feeling isolated, she forms an unexpected friendship with Onyx, a non-binary student who understands what it means to feel different. Together, they explore the abandoned Denham asylum and find courage in being themselves. But Onyx’s father is determined to separate them. When the asylum is due to be demolished, Mo and Onyx return on Halloween for one final visit—where they may uncover more than they expected.
