What is Harry and the monster about?

When Harry dreams about a huge purple monster, he wakes the whole family with his frightened cries. The next night, he is worried that the monster will return, so Mum suggests imagining it wearing pink pants on its head. But silly ideas involving jelly and Christmas trees do not stop the monster’s roaring. Then Dad thinks of one final trick. Can Harry turn his frightening dreams into something funny, or will the monster keep him awake?
