What is The final feast about?

Bethany’s world is turned upside down when she discovers that her supposedly dead father, Augustus, is still alive. He claims he wants to leave his criminal past behind, but Ebenezer, Miss Muddle and Geoffrey are not convinced. As Ebenezer’s 513th birthday approaches, the family must uncover Augustus’s true intentions while facing dangerous attacks and outrageous surprises. Can they protect Bethany, expose the truth and prove that family is about more than blood?
