What is I went to the supermarket about?
A brother and sister begin a familiar memory game: “I went to the supermarket and I bought…” But their shopping list soon becomes wonderfully wild. Witches, dragons, aliens, flamingos and other extraordinary characters appear as each child tries to outdo the other. As the game grows more imaginative and difficult to remember, their make-believe world becomes increasingly chaotic. Eventually, one forgotten item brings the contest to a surprising—and very messy—end.
