What is An evening at Alfie's about?
Alfie is enjoying a quiet evening at home with his little sister, Annie Rose, while their parents are out and Maureen is babysitting. Then they hear a mysterious drip. Soon, water is pouring through the ceiling, and everyone is rushing to deal with the burst pipe. As Maureen’s parents arrive to help, Alfie notices that Annie Rose is upset. While the grown-ups tackle the watery chaos, Alfie discovers what is troubling his sister and helps make everything right again.
