Two friends set off through the city to find a penguin. One is certain she can spot one anywhere, but every black-and-white animal she discovers turns out to be something else: a zebra, a dalmatian, a whale and more. As the pair argue over what makes a penguin a penguin, a real penguin quietly appears in the background of every scene. Children can search for it, guess each animal before the page turns and learn more from the fact file at the end.
