What is Song of the river about?

After a violent storm floods the valley, Cari and her mum must rebuild their home and café while coping with grief and a fresh start. When Cari learns that beavers could be reintroduced to help prevent future floods, she is determined to support the project. But some local people oppose the plan, and persuading them will not be easy. Can Cari bring the community together and give the beavers a chance before another flood destroys everything?
