At the Dyers’ farm, he slowly begins to trust Tom and Storme, but a walk in the hills takes a dangerous turn when mist closes in and Storme hurts her ankle. Then a sudden flood threatens the farm and its animals. As George faces the danger beside his new friends, he discovers courage, loyalty and the possibility of finally finding somewhere to call home.

Michael Morpurgo is a much-loved British author who has written over a hundred books for children. He is best known for his story 'War Horse', which was made into a play and a film. Michael often writes about animals and adventures, inspiring children to imagine exciting worlds and discover the magic of stories.
