What is Dog in Boots about?

Philip the dachshund is completely smitten with Penelope, but there is one problem: she is much taller than he is. Determined to reach her, Philip tries all sorts of clever ideas to make himself taller, with amusing results. As his plans grow more ridiculous, he begins to wonder whether changing himself is really the answer. With playful lift-the-flaps and plenty of laughs, this warm picture book celebrates friendship, confidence and the importance of being happy with who you are.
