What is The trouble with mum about?
There is trouble with Mum because she is not like other mums. She wears hats decorated with snakes and mice, keeps strange pets and flies her son to school on a broomstick. His friends think she is marvellous, but their parents are horrified by her unusual ways. When Mum’s magical habits lead to a frightening near-disaster, everyone discovers that her oddness may be more helpful than they ever imagined. A wonderfully silly story about family, imagination and accepting people for who they are.
