Sammy Spider watches with fascination as the Shapiro family prepares for Hanukkah. Each night, Josh lights another candle, says the blessings and receives a colourful dreidel. Sammy longs to join in, but he is only a little spider and does not understand the celebration. As the festival continues, Sammy learns about Hanukkah’s special traditions and discovers that there is room for him too. With the family’s kindness, he enjoys his very first Hanukkah and becomes part of the joyful celebration.
