What is Mr Pattacake and the pirates about?

Mr Pattacake expects to cook aboard a luxurious cruise ship, but The Seasnake turns out to be filled with pirates! With his hungry cat, Treacle, by his side, he is soon cleaning kitchens, hunting for treasure and stumbling into danger. When trouble strikes, Mr Pattacake must find the courage to rescue his new shipmates and save the day. Along the way, he discovers that appearances can be misleading—even when a pirate has an eye-patch and questionable washing habits.
