What is Blast-off! about?

It is the twins’ birthday, but Al is more interested in launching his time-machine capsule into outer space. With balloons, a marshmallow catapult and a bottle rocket, he and his friends set out to investigate thrust and potential energy. Their experiments are exciting, noisy and very messy, especially when baking powder gets involved. As the birthday party spins out of control and the neighbours start asking questions, can Al and Lottie complete their science mission before everything explodes?
