Lottie loves her dog, Patrick, but she does not understand why he can eat whatever he likes while she must eat vegetables. Determined to have things her own way, she decides to live on bread, cheese and biscuits instead. Then something extraordinary happens: Lottie begins to turn into a little mouse! As the cat next door grows increasingly curious, Patrick must think quickly. Can he rescue his best friend and find a way to turn Lottie back into a girl?
