What is Percy the Small Engine about?
Percy is a cheeky little engine who enjoys playing jokes on the bigger engines, but his pranks sometimes cause trouble. When the Fat Controller brings in a new engine called Duck, Percy is sent to work with Thomas and Toby on their branch line. There, he meets Harold the helicopter and finds himself caught up in exciting adventures. From confusing signals to dangerous floods, Percy must learn to be brave, responsible and a Really Useful Engine.

W. Awdry was a kind and imaginative author from England who loved telling stories about trains. He is best known for creating Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends in the much-loved Railway Series books.
