What is Nina the gobbledegoat about?

Nina is no ordinary goat: she is a gobbledegoat with an enormous appetite. First a sock vanishes, then a hat, an umbrella and all sorts of other household treasures. Soon, nothing seems safe from Nina’s hungry jaws. As the strange disappearances continue, everyone wonders whether the greedy goat will ever stop. Can Nina be persuaded to leave the furniture, clothes and useful belongings alone, or will she gobble her way through the whole house?
