Eleven-year-old Aya, a Syrian asylum seeker, arrives in Britain with her mother and baby brother, fleeing the war in Syria. Discovering a local ballet class, her exceptional talent is recognised by the teacher, who believes Aya could earn a prestigious scholarship. As Aya pursues her passion for dance, her family faces the challenges of seeking asylum, striving to build a new home, and searching for her father, from whom they were separated during their perilous journey.
