What is Art & Max about?
Art is a talented lizard who paints careful, impressive pictures. Max, his energetic young friend, longs to become an artist too, but his first brushstroke causes chaos. As Max experiments with paint, colour, texture and line, Art’s portrait changes in surprising ways—and soon the artwork, the artists and even the rules of painting begin to come apart. Through a fast-moving, funny adventure, the two friends discover that creativity can be messy, unexpected and far more exciting when they work together.
