What is Caterflies and ice about?

A sudden snowstorm leaves the magical creatures of the forest in danger, including a group of caterfly eggs trapped beneath the ice. Zoey and Sassafras set out to rescue them, but their first attempt goes wrong. With the eggs due to hatch soon, they must investigate what happened, learn from their mistake and find a scientific solution. Along the way, Zoey records her observations and experiments, showing how careful research and persistence can help solve even the trickiest problems.
